Harvey Jaxon is a locally owned retailer with deep roots in the local community. Our family has been in the appliance and mattress business for a combined 25 plus years!
Jay Burks (Jackson's father) started with a large national retailer in the early 2000's and after a few years of business, he sold it to his brother, Andy. Over the last 20 years, Andy has been in the appliance business under the name of this national retailer. Today, Andy and his nephew, Jackson, are looking to continue serving this community as a 100% independent retailer, Harvey Jaxon.

The name for the company is also rooted right here in the community.
Harvey Burks was a military man, originally from Pittsburgh, Tennessee. He married Reba Dyer, whose family had been in Union County for generations. After Harvey's 20 plus years of service in the military, he settled down in Union County. He had four children, Shelly, Jeff, Jay, and Andy, all who are actively involved with the community.
The second part of the name comes from Jackson's namesake, Jack Lance. Jack was Jackson's maternal grandfather and a lifelong resident of Union County. He spent a majority of his life owning the first pharmacy in Union County — Hill Lance Drugs. Jack was adamant about always doing the right thing, and taking care of the people we serve. He instilled this in his grandchild, Jackson.
We take great pride in our roots. That is what drives us to serve this community to the best of our ability. We do this by providing you with a knowledgeable staff, in house delivery team, and an in house service department.
